Foster Care Provider and staff required hhsc training

The Foster Care Provider and Staff Required Training is mandated by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to ensure the safety, well-being, and rights of individuals receiving care. This required training equips foster care providers and staff with essential knowledge in areas such as abuse, neglect, and exploitation prevention and reporting, HIPAA confidentiality, behavior management and de-escalation, infection control, medication administration, and understanding the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Completion of HHSC-required training supports regulatory compliance, promotes quality care, and ensures providers and staff are prepared to deliver safe, ethical, and person-centered services.
